Games Workshop Tabletop Game Battlefleet Gothic: Armada Gets PC Makeover

It’s been a busy week for Games Workshop news. First there was the information about a Warhammer version of Total War. Then, Humble Store announced a big sale on Games Workshop titles (including two tabletop adaptations: Blood Bowl and Warhammer Quest).

Now, Focus Home Interactive is announcing a new project with developer Tindalos Interactive (Etherium, Stellar Impact) to bring another Games Workshop board game to the digital space. Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is a real-time strategy that puts players in control of a space fleet.

You’ll have a choice of Imperial, Chaos, Ork, and Eldar factions. Each ship will have a distinct crew that will gain experience and skill as it survives engagements.

It’s still early in the title’s life cycle, so there is no video yet. However, Focus Home has delivered a small batch of screenshots that show off the game, which is being built in Unreal Engine 4. The title is in development for PC, with no release window announced.
