World of Warcraft's latest expansion, Warlords of Draenor, has been struggling under the weight of its players, as well as a DDoS attack, but things are looking up.
Blizzard offered an update to the issues facing the expansion a few minutes ago on Battle.net, saying it is having good luck as it opens up realm capacity.
Our initial tests to increase realm capacity were successful, so we’ve continued to roll out our testing of increased population caps to additional North American and Oceanic realms. We’re also making steady progress to resolve the issues causing instance, world, and Garrison server crashes in Europe. We’ll provide another update approximately one hour from now.
In response to errors following Tuesday's launch, Blizzard was forced to cap the populations as huge collections of players congregated around new zones. You can find more about Draenor's launch woes by heading here.

Our Take
It's disappointing that online games are nearly incapable of launching smoothly. Even Blizzard, a company that set many of the standards we know today for online gaming, still struggles when it comes time to unleash their products on the masses.
