WWE 2K15’s MyCareer Mode Lets You Take A Wrestler From Scrub To Star

If you’ve been following the development of WWE 2K15, you might have wondered why 2K Sports added Visual Concepts to the mix. With today’s announcement of MyCareer mode in this year’s title, things make a bit more sense.

Visual Concepts, the team behind the NBA 2K series, has developed and refined MyCareer in that series. Now, you’ll be able to create, train, and promote talent in the WWE through a similar system.

Players will bring their created superstars to the WWE Performance Center to train under head coach Bill DeMott. Completing objectives will advance them to NXT, WWE’s showcase for rising stars.

After NXT, players will earn a spot in the WWE roster and compete for spots in Pay Per View events. The ultimate goal is the World Heavyweight Championship.

Along the way, players will form alliances and rivalries and make decisions about managers, attire, skills, and movies. All of these things lead to different branches of the story.

WWE 2K15 will be out for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 28. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are coming on November 18. For more, check out a new batch of screenshots below and our most recent preview of the new-gen versions.
