Wield The One Ring With Shadow Of Mordor's Season Pass

In a classic case of burying the lede, the season pass trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor takes a while to get to the point. OK, so you get access to beast hunting missions. And you can kill some orcs in leaderboard trials. Oh, and then there's this bit in which you get to wield the One Ring. Wait... what?

One of the bigger pieces of the DLC allows players to take control of Celebrimbor, Talion's wraith companion. Before he was a spectral avenger though, Celebrimbor was one of the finest craftsmen of the second age and was instrumental in creating the rings of power (unwittingly assisting Sauron begin is reign of terror).

If you opt into the season pass, you'll be able to play as Celebrimbor as he was in the second age. You'll even have the One Ring at your disposal. For those that aren't heavily into Tolkein, this is what we call a "big deal."
