Reader Nick “Nick Brick” Jensen emailed us today to share his latest Lego creation, inspired by Bungie’s work on the Halo franchise. This 40-inch long, 15.5-inch wide replica of Halo: Reach’s UNSC Savannah is truly a work of art.
Jensen built the Savannah as part of the “SHIPtember Challenge” (that’s Seriously Huge Investment in Parts). The contest challenged builders to create a spacecraft at least 100 Lego studs (32.5 inches) in length.

His build weighs in at 13 lbs. and took him 27 days to complete. As you can see in the video above, the thrusters are lit (a kit from LifeLites did the trick).
