The Game Boy was released in North America on July 31, 1989 – 25 years ago today. In celebration of the original mobile gaming device’s 25th anniversary, video game music group OverClocked ReMix has released Legacy: Game Boy 25th Anniversary, a collection of 15 songs from the Game Boy and Game Boy Color, remixed and arranged by 16 different artists.
Legacy is the 49th community arrangement album published by OverClocked ReMix. Like all its previous projects, Legacy is free to download. The album’s 15 tracks include iconic classics like Super Mario Land, Mega Man II, Pokémon, and Tetris, as well as a few less well-known tunes like Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warriors.
