The PlayStation Version Of Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare Includes New Features, Content


Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is coming to PlayStation systems later this summer, and today developer PopCap games released this behind-the-scenes look at the new features that will be included in the new versions.


Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare on PlayStation systems features full PS Vita remote play compatibility, which means that the whole game, including multiplayer and every game mode, will be playable on-the-go from the Vita with remote play activated. The PS version is also playable from tablets with a PlayStation companion app. You can see how Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare looks on PlayStation hardware in the video below.

In addition to remote play options, the PlayStation version will be getting new gameplay content. New characters, customization options, maps, and game modes were all mentioned. The PS versions will also have access to all content released on other platforms when they come out on August 19. Players who pre-order Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare for PlayStation systems will also receive exclusive new customization options, including Hat Packs inspired by PlayStation characters Ratchet, Clank, Sly Cooper, and Fat Princess.


Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is a third-person multiplayer shooter featuring cooperative and competitive modes inspired by the Plants vs. Zombies franchise.
