Fitzgerald & Jazz Pick: A Golden Wake (Wadjet Eye Games, Grundislav Games)

With the Great Depression and World War 2 just around the corner, the 1920s and 1930s shouldn't have been such an era of glitz, glamour and promise and, truth be said, things weren't particularly good for most. People were poor and about to get poorer, stock markets were far too wild and even the Sunshine State's idyllic waterfront was only a hurricane away from total devastation -- and that's exactly when and where A Golden Wake's Alfie Banks has his chance for a golden life.

Obviously, this Alfie person, a charismatic, persuasive and rather reckless real estate gambler, is the guy whose shoes players will be filling as soon as Wadjet Eye and Grundislav Games release their ambitious and historically grounded point-and-click adventure this very fall. A Golden Wake will be launched for Windows PCs and will apparently look very good. This good actually:
