The upcoming difficult indie platformer 1001 Spikes is also coming to Nintendo's consoles alongside its planned Sony platform releases.
1001 Spikes originally released on Xbox 360’s Indie Marketplace, but is getting overhauled for a full release on Mac, PC, PlayStation 4, and Vita. Recently, however, publisher Nicalis announced its plans to also bring the game to Wii U and 3DS. The delay in the Nintendo platform announcement was related to Nicalis making sure it could work out a deal where buyers of other Nicalis games like Cave Story or VVVVVV could purchase 1001 Spikes at a $5 loyalty discount.
The game will release Tuesday, June 3 for PlayStation 4, Vita, Mac, PC, Wii U, and 3DS.

Our Take
I've had my eye on this game since it was recommended by Super Meat Boy creator Edmund McMillen last summer. I'm excited to check it out, and I am always happy to see more games come to Nintendo platforms.
