The Valley Rule is a 2D exploration platformer created by Rayn Carag and Bill Kiley for the Ludum Dare 29 competition. Here you're supposed to collect a set of four keys to open the door that blocks your path out of the cavern. The game features several power-ups that can be collected to gain new abilities, which are then used to access new areas and rooms.
Puzzles come in the form of blocks that need to be pushed on top of switches to reveal new passages. Ample checkpoints are scattered around the labyrinth, though you'll have to activate them manually in order to save your progress.
The post-compo version of The Valley Rule is available to play now at Newgrounds, and its Ludum Dare page can be found here.
