PlayStation Plus In March Brings Last-Gen Tomb Raider, New-Gen Dead Nation

As we reported yesterday, Dead Nation is getting a PlayStation 4 makeover. Housemarque’s twin-stick zombie shooter will be free this month alongside five other titles in the Instant Game Collection.

Also this month, PlayStation Plus members can expect the PlayStation 3 version of Tomb Raider, Mike Bithell’s Thomas Was Alone, Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut, Unit 13 for Vita, and Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite for PSP on Vita.

The month kicks off with Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition on March 4. Check back in every Monday to find out which titles are entering the Instant Game Collection that week.

Our Take
Even though this is the weakest month in some time, PlayStation Plus continues to deliver value (especially with Tomb Raider in the mix). Both portable-only titles are underwhelming, but your Vita won’t be dormant thanks to the on-the-go versions of Thomas Was Alone and Lone Survivor that you’ll get along with the PS3 editions.
